    Size and definition of 19 "system 

    The width of flange (including mounted racket) is 482.6 mm (19 "), so it is defined as 19 "system.

     

    Plug-in Box
    Plug-in box is an important part of electronic equipment, which is usually composed of horizontal beams, top cover and bottom cover , the front panel and rear panel, bilateral side panel s. The using space is calculated by slots. A slot is usually composed of several horizontal TE, or defined by the designer.

    Internal plug-in unit are mainly divided into separated plate-type plug-ins and cassette plug-ins.

    A plate- type plug-in unit comprises the front panel and the circuit board equipped with connectors.
    A cassette plug-in unit is usually a box that contains a large number of components or several circuit boards.

     

    Width
    The width behind the flange (including screws) should be less than 449 mm.
    The internal width is based on TE unit. 1 TE = 5.08 mm (0.2 ")

    Internal space≥ 84 × 5.08, which is 426.72mm.

     

    Height
    The height of the plug-in box is based on U unit, 1 U = 44.45 mm (1.75″)
    Usually: H = (n × U-0.8) + /-0.4, For RX, H = (n × U-1.35 "), (please see table 1).

     

    Depth
    There is no specific regulation about the depth, which is specifically decided by the depth of the plug-in unit and the size of the input and output plug-in unit behind the rear tail-needle connector.
    The horizontal installation spacing is 465.1 + /-1.6 mm
